Handbook for Plastics Processors

The main object of this handbook is to meet the needs of the processor of plastics materials, including the processing methods available for its manufacture, how to evaluate its properties and how to apply effective quality control. The book also aims to provide a supporting body of information on specific practical techniques, procedures and problems. Thus the materials survey is followed by a simple identification scheme which can easily be adapted for specific use on the shop floor. The section on processing includes a chapter on trouble shooting with the major processes and a brief discussion of design principles and problems.
