Orimili (African Writers)

Orimili takes his name from the great river that flows through his hometown of Kokocha - but while the river flows on to the wider world beyond, Orimili is anchored to his home, and yearns to strengthen those ties further. His ambition is to be accepted in the company of elders, to wear the thick white thread of office around his ankle.
