Trilobites and Other Stories

Nearly all the stories in this collection take place in and around the mountain hollows of West Virginia - a world of cockfighting, coalmining, deerstalking, foxhunting, truck-driving, prize-fighting, sex, depression, drinking and death. The author committed suicide in 1979, at the age of 26.
