The papers presented in this volume have been chosen from those presented at the Sixth International Evoked Potentials Symposium. The title "Functional Neuroscience" reflects that all of the measures described are of function (as opposed to form) and functional also in the sense of clinical applicability. The book presents a balanced view across a broadening field, with special attention to clinical utility, as clinical findings also contribute to a furtherance of basic knowledge, leading to improved clinical utility.
