This annual volume in the series contains 28 checked and edited procedures on stereochemical selection. Eight procedures illustrate the impressive advances in the areas of enantioselective (asymmetric) synthesis, four cover, highly stereospecific syntheses of useful optically active products. Procedures are given for two specific compounds - cyclopropanone ethyl hemiketal and hexafluoroacetone, and the rest treat a wide range of synthetic methodology.
