Ozone Depletion and Health

Comprises the edited proceedings of an international conference on the health and environmental consequences of stratospheric ozone depletion, held at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, November, 1988. Contributions from members of the medical, scientific and political communities present the state of knowledge on the ozone layer and the greenhouse effect; deleterious effects of ultraviolet radiation on humans, animals and plants; alternatives to chlorofluorocarbons; and political responses to the scientific discoveries.
