Central Venous Access (CD) (Concept Media: Educational Videos)

This program will discuss two types of central venous catheters: those with external ports and those implanted beneath skin. The rational for the use of each type is explained using scenarios as well as art. In addition, routine flushing, accessing the line for medication administration, and dressing changes for the Hickman catheter are demonstrated.
