The Long Swim

The Long Swim by Raymond Fabregas is a riveting novelization of true historic events in 1940’s Argentina. In this colorful debut novel, the author introduces readers to a photographer named Alfredo Caldi. Caldi, with little to lose and a lot to gain in the whirlwind of his country’s political activities, is assigned to capture on film, the notorious Juan and Evita Peron. At the same time, the shutterbug has also taken on the task of documenting Mario Pezzone’s “long swim” into the city of La Paz.
