An Excel Companion for Business Statistics

This manual or workbook provides step-by-step instructions for using Excel to solve most of the problems for introductory business statistics. It presents many visual examples of computer screen captures. These show data input, pull-down menus, dialog boxes and statistical results. The primary purpose of this workbook is to introduce the statistical capabilities of Excel. However, it is written assuming some students will not have prior experience with Windows and/or Excel. Accordingly, Chapter 1 includes a brief introduction to the Windows environment and an introduction to Excel.
