Nuove Terra's Ring of Time

Being thirteen and dealing with acne, occasional growth spurts, a cracking voice, and a twin sister that lives to rat him out Sam just wants his life to be different. Unfortunately, sometimes, wishes come true. On a chilly night in September Sam and Sarah's parents are murdered by wand wielding assassins. The twins are thrust into a magical world where friends may be enemies and enemies may be their only way out. Forced to delve into their parents' past they begin to learn that secrets, like coffins, are buried for a reason and our only weapons are the choices we make, but choices have consequences. As their options diminish Sam realizes that the ring on his sister's finger is intertwined, not only with their fates, but the fates of the four worlds as well. It is the fabled Ring of Time and must be destroyed before it destroys them all. He never wanted to be a hero. He's just a kid. All he wants to do is go home, but he can never go home again.
