Ola Louise Westmorelands song "Bridge on Truckee River" topped the charts in 1979, But her name hasnt always been in lights. Born into a family of 19 children in the middle of the great depression, Ola is no stranger to poverty, hunger, abuse, and struggle. She is a survivor- "born to fight." Her drive to succeed in life earned her everything she set her mind to. But she didnt find peace until she found Jesus. He put a song in her heart that shes still singing and cant wait for you to hear.
