WMSNi User Manual

The WMSNi User Manual is designed to instruct users of the Workload Management System for Nurses Internet (WMSNi) on how to operate the recently refreshed application. WMSNi is now a centralized web-based application with a contemporary user interface and real-time capabilities. Data can be inputted through easy-to-use features, adding and retrieving information is as simple as clicking a button, and information entered is immediately employable. Several new features, such as the scheduling components and multidimensional reporting/analysis capabilities make the refreshed application such that users can analyze trends and devise and implement staffing strategies in a time efficient manner. But with all of the modern capabilities now available, end users might find themselves at a loss on how to most effectively operate the system without instructions. Therefore, this manual has been composed for the end user with ease of use in mind. Each chapter covers a component, or tab, in the WMSNi application and then discusses how to use the different mechanisms within that tab through simplified step-by-step instructions.
