A free-wheeling young American woman in Europe looks for romance and finds a glamorous dream come true a rich daredevil young Frenchman whose family owns a farm in Spain, a beach house on the Mediterranean, and an antique shop in Morocco, where the young couple go to live. But Ginny soon learns that marriage isn't all fast cars and wild parties, that the French artistocracy wasn't made for a carefree American woman, and as for living in Morocco . . . romance without freedom isn't what she had in mind, especially when a violent coup d'etat erupts right before her very eyes.
