"Wait To Be My Angel" is the electrifying story of Dana Evans and her ex-husband Dr. Carlo Evans. Dana is seriously injured in an auto accident and Carlo, one of the Southeast's leading surgeons, is called in to operate on her. The operation is successful but she she sinks into a deep coma. As Carlo sits by her bedside, pleading with her to 'wait to be my angel', he remembers their former history together. As the story unfolds, it comes back to the present from time to time with all of the doctors trying desperately to find the cause of Dana's deep sleep. A mystery that seems to have no explanation. There are many tantalizing sub-plots in the story dealing with mystery, mystique, danger, intrigue and heartache. They are involved with mystical experiences involving the Aborigine people in the Outback of Australia as they work with the Flying Doctors. The terrifying near-rape at the stable and a heartbreaking tragedy involving Carlo's son. Dana's unseen guardian angel plays a large part in the story and works with her to the shocking conclusion.
