Catacorn Valley has just been attacked by strange creatures with long necks (Ahmerogns). Pursanna Ritbee and her young family must flee to the mountains for safety. But safety will only come after their attackers are defeated. The family is torn apart, and each member has to find help. Their individual adventures lead them to new peoples and places.
