When Time Began

"When Time Began" is a collection of legends and drawings of how various things came to be in the world. These legends come from the vivid imaginations of two fourth grade classes. These students attended Mrs. Carlisle's and Mrs. Trettin's classes at Brook Park Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 2002 school year. From how koalas got their black noses to how tigers got their stripes to the beginning of water, these legends answer some of life's more interesting questions.
