Through The Fire

Caroline Tierney has her life precariously balanced between family and career until her mother dies leaving her without a caretaker for her children or a touchstone in life. Caroline struggles with depression, trying to do it all, unable to reach out for help. However, when Caroline meets an elderly woman named Esther, she begins to understand that parenting is difficult for everyone. With gentle wisdom, Esther tries to help Caroline realize that the key to happiness involves trusting in God.As Caroline learns to love herself, she is able to reach out to her husband and children. However, as she comes to the realization that her family holds the key to happiness, she and her husband begin to suspect that there is something terribly wrong with their daughter, Anna. When Anna reveals that a priest molested her, Caroline and her husband, Brian, fight to hold their family together through feelings of rage and guilt.
