Derrick Anderson is young, intelligent, and talented, and dreams of becoming a major league ballplayer. Drafted into professional baseball right out of high school, he has the opportunity to live his dreams. But he also has a fondness for alcohol and women. Advancing through the farm leagues of the Denver Eagles, Derrick also progresses in his addictions. While in the major leagues, his addictions put his talent, family, and life on the line. Even the love of a beautiful woman cant make him stop. Not until he hits rock bottom and fears for his daughters well being does he try to again make a change in his life. But, will it stick this time, when the other times have failed?
