SURVIVOR PE STYLE

Survivor PE Style was developed as a positive way for children to take on responsibilities and to bring important character traits to the field of competition. Fitness levels in children have dropped dramatically over the past few years, which is very alarming to me. This successful program was put to the test in 2002 in my fourth and fifth grade PE classes. I realized by observation this was the "future" for children and knew it needed to be shared with the world! This program is fun, creative, and a challenging adventure for children who, during their journey, will learn coping skills, leadership skills, respect, courage, perseverance, self-control, initiative, attitudes, and the challenges themselves. With this program, Peninsula Heritage School students' level of fitness increased. The children had a new and exciting journey to enjoy. I'm confident that as you read this book you will feel as though you are really experiencing the journey and adventures with these children.
