True Life Story

This story is dedicated to the physically and mentally abused, as well as those who have raised physically or mentally challenged children, particularly those who raised them as a single parent-and for good reason, for it is a poignant account of how the author herself overcame horrendous obstacles, growing up with an alcoholic and violent parent, suffering abuse from certain siblings, and, to top it all, meeting the challenges as a single mother who had to take care of a son who had to undergo frequent surgery as a result of a rare and incurable bone disorder, osteogenesis-imperfecta. Through her patience, courage and endurance she is, in effect, an 'earth angel' whose true life story will provide comfort and strength for others who find themselves in similar situations.
