Mafia to the Max: A Max Snow Adventure

Detroit native Max Snow is a hairstylist, salon owner, and PI wannabe. He's also healthy-think family genetics-wealthy-thanks to a multi-million dollar hit on the Michigan Lotto, and occasionally even wise-although Linda Riff, Maxie's part-time lover, would probably argue that last thing until the proverbial cows came home.Having barely survived his virgin murder investigation, Max is pulled deep into the black heart of organized crime as Olympio Grillo, a recently transplanted Chicago Mafia lieutenant, targets him and his salon. Maxie's resistance to Grillo's campaign of threats and intimidation only strengthens the mobster's resolve. In a desperate attempt to fight back, Max enlists the aid of the Yakuza, a group of ferocious Japanese gangsters. The consequences prove hairier than our fledgling investigator could have possibly imagined.
