The book is divided into three sections: the happy love poems,the break-up and the resurrection poems. All of her reading ofthe Beats, Black Mountain and European poetry, and Zen andEastern philosophy have contributed to the simplicity andcomplexity in her work. The element of satori (suddenrevelation) works smoothly into the poems.
