A Mystic Arrives

KyLee is a young girl who is the first of a powerful new Mystic breed. Ancient Spirits endow KyLee with powers to rid the planet of the evil sorceress Sharmaka, who had been responsible for the destruction of the first Mystics. Before KyLee can be inducted as a full Mystic, Sharmaka kidnaps her from her village called Tarmel. Escape is impossible as she, along with many from her village cross the desert to the city of Sagan. KyLee's only encouragement comes from her telepathic contact with her Mystic Spirit mentor. She remains in constant contact with her Spirit Master, who urges her to use the wind over the desert to send a “mind-talk” message for help. Her calls lead four men to her rescue. Devon, Roetan and twin brothers, Roardel and Gordel who inherited their mind-talk ability from their ancestors. This rescue exacts a heavy toll. No one will be the same again. KyLee must fight for others' lives as well as her own life. She struggles to control her uninitiated powers and new found feelings as she pursues her goal to reach Castle Myst and become a full and true Mystic of the Realm.
