The Source Code

Upon the sudden death of her estranged uncle, Sarah Wynter, the director of a New York art gallery, unexpectedly becomes the sole heir to $2 billion. Within hours after she gains control of the money, it is stolen by computer hackers in India and the Russian mafia, using a stolen source code to silently breach her banks’ firewalls. Instructions are then given that will end her life.

Four hundred miles away, John Ambrose, a Virginia lawyer, finds his identity has been stolen and used by a Columbian drug cartel to traffic drugs and launder drug money. Struggling to regain his identity, Ambrose unwittingly gains possession of $385 million of the cartel’s money, and his death warrant is sealed.

In their frantic attempt to stay alive, the paths of Sarah Wynter and John Ambrose soon cross, and they find themselves in a dark world inhabited by forces of evil unlike those they had ever known. When the stolen source code is used to break into U.S. defense systems, alarm bells are set off at the FBI. Alienated from his law firm and the target of a world-wide manhunt, Ambrose is thrust into a deadly confrontation with the cartel and the mafia.
