Escape!

 Two charming strangers, each familiar with first class air travel, are suddenly forced to hit the roads together for 2,250 miles, knowing sinister hunters are in hot pursuit and deadly danger lurks on the California cliffs. So how do they make the best of it?

Author David Emil Henderson pondered that question while seeking escape from boredom on a coast-to-coast airliner. He had desired the kind of book he could read on long flights and finish as the tires hit the runway. So that's what he wrote, and he called it 'Deadly Dividends' pertaining to the secrets behind the plot. Later, Henderson decided his story is really more about ESCAPE -- not just from danger but from boredom, from worries and regrets, from past lives. With the new title came new pages of manuscript, as he expanded the inner workings of both the story and its very seductive travelers.
