2012: Nibley's Ancient New Year Rite

Embedded within the traditions of the Ancient New Year Rite is the pattern found within the Three Pillars of the Gospel. The Creation, the Fall, and the Atonement are the three legs of the stool that holds the understanding of the structure of the cosmos and of the temple. Dr. Hugh Nibley made the study of the New Year Rite his top focus since its concepts provided the foundation of all sacred keys of knowledge. His teachings of year cycles included larger circles of time that clearly explain why the Mayan long-count calendar points to 2012 as the ending of an important age and the beginning of a new and exciting day as the earth begins to move from a telestial condition to a terrestrial state.
