“In The Eyes of Destiny” In the Eyes of Destiny depicts the lives of five complete strangers who come together because of one common thread: their love for Destiny Green Barnes a sweet, charismatic, intelligent, strong willed business woman. Four of the five strangers have not seen or heard from Destiny in over a decade. Out of the blue, each of them receives an invitation to come to her farm house, in North Louisiana. Even though she has been absent in their lives the invitation shines a ray of light on their dark bleak dismal existence. They were overjoyed because Destiny had revisited them again to give them hope. They drew from her strength. Her zest for life was infectious and they needed one more hit to jump start their lives again. Once at the farmhouse, things begin to unravel. Their lives as they know it are turned inside out. Deep dark secrets and weaknesses are exposed. Scabs are removed and wounds are reopened. Their past hurts and dreams deferred are exposed for the whole world to see. They are stripped of their protective garments that once housed their tumultuous past. The strangers are left in trepidation.
