EME: The Protocol, Book 1

Is your spam filter programmed to stop unwanted cyber visitors? Cyber bombs? Fifteen year-old Eme is the surviving twin of the 9/11 attack on the Wolrd Trade Center. Her famous movie star parents, fearful of losing their only child, have kept her isolated on their Malibu estate, with her quirky great-grandmother as her home school teacher. Her GG Anne hatches a plot to convince Eme's parents to allow her to attend a local community college for a few summer tech classes. The plot succeeds beyond their wildest expectations: Eme is sprung from her "prison," and she finds herself headed to a world-renowned technical institute in Switzerland. Her plane never arrives at its destination; instead Eme, because of her name, finds herself and three of her new acquaintences embroiled in a terrorist plot to seize control of the World Bank and destroy America by way of an ingenoius email protocol that allows solid objects to travel through cyberspace. This is first in a series that follows Eme and her friends as they stay a step ahead of the world governments and a multitude of terrorist factions as they travel to the ends of the earth and beyond to discover what happened in the future to cause the destruction of the world, and how they can stop the same disaster from happening again.
