The Fifth Stage

Something wonderful has happened to Kelly Moore, an EPA microbiologist since she was treated for depression by Dr. Jack Connor. Her melancholia lifts after taking a novel antidepressant, Remtoril, but it's not that simple. She also experiences an unexpected side effect--wonderfully vivid dreams which lead to a curious enlightenment. But the drug is a Pandora's box. Remtoril has rerouted and rewired her neurochemistry. Kelly's unique "knowing dreams" come at a price--frightening rebound episodes follow her dreams. The findings of her sleep study are revealing, but gain the unwanted attention of a governmental black ops agency.
