Kim is a person who wishes to share a brutally honest memoir with the world. He was sexually and physically abused as a child and then removed from the care of his mother and her string of abusive boyfriends. He was placed in multiple homes while a ward of the state. The physical and sexual abuse continued through a plethora of foster homes, including a couple of group homes. Just the Way it Was is his honest, gritty, and determined look to face his past and find freedom from the troubles that have haunted him in his final battle to become the man he was always intended to be.
