The Dancing Church: Book Three of Heretics in Occupied Eden

This third volume in the HERETICS IN OCCUPIED EDEN series brings to a climax the spiritual saga of Cloud and Terp and the clothing optional Natural Christian Church they serve. Readers' accumulated questions about the nature and identity of the Old One are answered here in detail. THE DANCING CHURCH explains why repeated attempts through the ages to create utopian communities and new Edens have failed -and how to get it right this time. As the narrative begins, Cloud, Terp, and their friends meet with the Old One and learn startling information. Soon thereafter, Terp and Cloud seek to join an ecumenical pastors organization in Sedona but are strongly rebuffed. In response, they launch their own group of unorthodox spiritual leaders, the Sedona Alternative Ministerium, which includes New Age, Native American, and gay-friendly congregations. These efforts attract the malicious attention of local fundamentalists, who plot to destroy the heretical nudist church. Paranormal gifts, particularly out-of-body travel, blossom and multiply among the growing number of Angel Nest residents. While these events unfold, clandestine plans from the Old One's enclave begin to bear fruit, radically affecting Terp, Cloud and their inclusive community. Along the way, the novel deconstructs a variety of orthodox Christian doctrines and delves into the realm of the intersexual third sex of humankind.
