The Two Joe's. A Satire in Black and White

This book describes two lifestyles, two cultures and two very different ways of thinking. The book pokes fun of both cultures and the book also contains some very thought-provoking circumstances that anyone can relate too. The purpose of this book is inspire dialogue; to make people think about the choices of both Joes and to critique the social structures in the United States. The Two Joe's is a dark satire that tells the story of two men named Joe. Both men are striving for the American Dream. Both men were born on the same day at the same time in different parts of Maryland(different zip codes) One Joe is born into a family of African American democrats and the other Joe is born into a family of white American Republicans. The story explains how both Joes are reared in Maryland by two loving parents but the results of both parent’s efforts are greatly different.
