About Level 1 This level of the series is designed for students who know addition and subtraction with multi-digit numbers as well as simple multiplications of one-digit numbers. Some of the problems, however, involve advanced concepts and may be useful for older students.

About Volume 1 - Counting This book starts a foundation for good skills for discrete counting and probability. Age appropriate examples introduce elementary counting concepts and inductive reasoning. We focus on establishing a solid strategy for each problem, even when using a brute force solution, such as listing all possibilities, is an option.
