Headlights

Mag works, sleeps, eats and reads trying to shut out life beyond this. As she keeps to herself more people try to get her involved. At 28 she is a paralegal for a law firm working strictly with abused women. Her family does not believe she will get married, and she has followed that line of logic. Mag notices things in her life altering, such as her always-reliable car not working. People making odd comments to her about life. She begins to get severe headaches in her left temple causing her to sit quickly. When she goes to sleep she dreams a dreamless sleep; however she hears a constant set of tones and sounds she cannot place. The most surprising change is meeting Thomas Unger and letting him in her life. He seems to know all about her and she becomes close to him. She begins to feel at ease with him and begins to remove herself from her reclusive life. Once he gets close she notices that he begins to become very protective of her and her not getting her broken car back. At first she brushed his words aside, but he becomes more particular with his views.
