A Concrete Wish: a modern fable

     Creative and intellectual social misfits come together in Massachusetts after two of them fall in love.  Emmie is a creative writer with a steady day job.  Although a free spirit, she is also a very practical Black woman, a former teacher who has third-generation ties to New England and enjoys her life as it is.

     Mark Moon is 15 years younger than Emmie but convinced they were made for each other despite their list of differences--age, race, lifestyle, economic status...  He is a visual artist and technology wiz who grew up surfing beaches in California.  Mark came East for college ten years ago but quickly formed a community of friends.

     Did fate bring the couple together years after a brief but intense friendship?  Or is it just a coincidence?  You decide. This is a modern love story for people with brains.
