Navigating Calculus Cd-rom

The activities in Navigating Calculus were designed to address a number of pedagogical issues related to mathematics, calculus, and computer-aided learning. Education research has shown that students learn 20 percent of what they see, 30 percent of what they hear, 50 percent of what they see and hear, and 80 percent of what they see, hear, and do. Based on the premise that students need to interact with the mathematics, each activity in Navigating Calculus demands student interaction in ways that elucidate fundamental concepts.
