Life Is Like Music Play On

In life one often has opinions about different things but no platform to speak about them. This book is the author’s attempt to give her opinion, experience and advice on different aspects that confront us daily. The aim is to open discussions and make people think more deeply about life and how they can improve theirs. The book was also an avenue used to let off steam and deal with controversial issues like abortion, sex before marriage, “after tears” and other such topics that many people are just too afraid to talk about. What comes through strongly is the author’s feeling that we owe it to our children to educate them and to teach them to live Christianlike lives. Our children need good role models to follow and should know that there is time for everything so they must not try to grow up too quickly and participate in adult activities, such as sex too soon. Let the author’s experiences motivate you to aim high and to dream big. Just as random musical notes combine to produce a melody when a musical maestro puts them together, in the same way God uses our experiences, both positive and negative to compose a symphony – but only if we surrender our lives to Him. Romans 8:28 – “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him whohave been called according to His purpose.” Just as the title says to “Play on”, in the same way one should not give up in the face of difficulties. Everything has its season and whatever happens will eventually pass. Just as musical notes have high notes and low notes, life is composed of highlights and low points and come what may, we must play on.
