This new edition of the Weed Control Handbook provides basic information about weeds and herbicides and sets out the principles which govern techniques of weed control in a wide range of situations. The chapters have been written by specialists drawn from government research and advisory organisations, from industry and from educational establishments. All information has been extensively revised and rewritten in line with recent developments in weed science and technology. Although the Handbook deals primarily with weed problems in temperate climates, and in particular with the practice of weed control in the United Kingdom, the principles discussed have much wider application and will be of interest to those concerned with weed science elsewhere in the world
