Clinical Anatomy

Anatomy is a fundamental subject for first year medical students: where everything is and what it is called. It is this that is examined at the first end of the year. Study of anatomy is through picture books, skeletons and , decreasingly, the dissection of human cadavers. Professor Ellis' successful revision text provides an understanding of anatomy in its clinical context. The structure of the book is regional and begins with surface markings, followed by detailed discussions of each organ or constituent part. These anatomical features are immediately followed by Clinical Features, the component which makes the book unique.
