We Have Come Far: shared wisdom from survivors of extreme trauma

WE HAVE COME FAR is an anthology of writings by survivors of severe trauma and abuse. This includes ritual abuse, mind control traumas, cult and domestic abuse, sexual trafficking, institutional abuse and more. The authors have written from their experience after many years of healing work in order to share the hope and truth of healing. The focus is on the fact that healing is possible, hard, unique, and worth the effort. Contributions are from 21 authors, some already nationally and/or internationally recognized for their expertise and contributions to the field: Jean Riseman; Trish Fotheringham; Janet Thomas; Lynn Schirmer; Melisa Noel; Madison Clell; Sonia Connolly; Dr. Shamai Currim PhD; Wanda Karriker; Kamila Rina; and 11 others. The authors wrote unique descriptions of healing, hardship, trauma and dissociation, spirituality and life. Survivors, survivor-professionals, professionals and all allies for survivors of extreme abuse will gain something from this anthology.
