  • "Grant Morrison's The Invisibles meets Fight Club, with ...a completely unique take on what makes myth tick," Underground Reviews.

First in the transmedia Fallen Cycle.

Synopsis:

When Agent Trevino dragged them out of the King of Prussia mall, he hardly realized what he was up against. A bunch of kids playing a bomb threat prank that had gone way too far, is what he thought. Some of them were claiming the names of Gods and demons: Dionysus, Loki, Lilith, Jesus.

Dionysus, Jesus, and some accomplice named Johny were imprisoned, and Agent Trevino thought that was the end of that.

A year later they staged a truly improbable break from the mental asylum. He was called into a shadowy agency and told to track down these terrorists, to report their connections, their movements, and then terminate with extreme prejudice. Just four more American civilians killed in the name of freedom from terror, they said. But the order didn't sit right with him.

He tracked them across the country, and discovered a counterculture world deeper and stranger than he could have imagined. Kids were disappearing from their homes to follow the pied piper act of their band, Babylon. Babylon's ops posture was a bastard-child synthesis of Anonymous, MEND, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, and the Grateful Dead. But their ideology was pure Ken Kesey and the Acid Test. These weren't terrorists in any traditional sense. As Babylon's message spread, he had to face reality. Could he hope to stop what he hardly understood?

This is the story of how the Fallen returned to our world, and hints of the world to come.
