The American Way

Japeth Walker sets out on a journey to be the best soccer player in the world after his best friend is murdered. Through the eyes of a young black boy becoming a man we see the unspoken side of the American Dream. Japeth learns that the American Dream, for him, demands much more than just hard work and dedication. It requires that he risk it all for a distant chance at success. The American Way is getting what you want by any means necessary.
