Reproduction in Farm Animals

The third edition is a complete revision of the second edition in order to include recent progress in gamete ultra structure and transport, genetics and biochemistry of reproduction and sexual behavior. There have been numerous deletions from the second edition, as well as integration of new references and new ideas. Several new chapters have been added dealing with reproductive life cycle, gamete transport, cytogenetics, and mammalian and avian reproduction. Much of the information on laboratory animals presented in the second edition has been replaced by recent data on farm animals.
