The Marble Orchard (LIN)

The laconic L.A. private investigator Mike Faraday is hired to find out who is behind an apparently trivial series of thefts in the home of Madame Azelma, the aged millionairess founder of a cosmetics empire. Faraday's lonely trail leads to blackmail and, inevitably, murder on the grand scale. The beautiful Zelda Frain takes refuge in Mike's arms while the soothing presence of Stella in the office, as always, provides the only constant in his violent life.
