This is a Compact Edition containing many notes to aid the reader, but they are much more limited than those in the NET Bible First Edition. It was designed for the reader wanting a smaller format which would be easier to carry and although notes for study are included they, too, have a simpler format for devotional reading. he NET Bible is a new translation of the Bible with 60,932 translators' notes. The NET Bible was not funded by any particular denomination or church.
