The Dori Story

Dorian Emily Devorah Yisraela Butterfly Block was born on April 7, 1982 as a wide-eyed curious baby already asking a million questions. In the “Dori Story,” the reader follows Dori through her experiences from birth to age eighteen, as she becomes an individual in a town of suburban conformity. See life as it revolves around someone else. Dori continues to ask questions along every stage of her life, allowing the reader to enter her thoughts as they develop. Discover what she thinks of boys, laundry, the homeless and math class in each stage of her life, through light hearted metaphors, leading to much larger lessons. The humorous, yet realistic characters who move in and out of her life are discussed in passing, each transferring an important lesson to the developing young woman.
