Glimpse of Death

The book contains a story of astral travel within our own dimension. It takes place in Los Angeles, California. The year is this year. It is about a young woman who was born with the ability to go in and out of her body at will. Although she remembers as a child only coming out two or three times, she found out what she was capable of doing and that she was born with that ability. She developed it further. Except for that world, everything is Fiction including the dark ones. The young woman Elizabeth Clark Veratelli finds out that a Research Clinic has committed two murders and wants to find proof of the murders and reach the newspapers before the clinic finds out. She fears that the clinic might get to her first, and if the clinic does not, others will. She is afraid that others will enter into the astral world and make worse the situation her friends are in before all of them will ever be released from their trap of lifelessness. The Government and the Research Clinic only want to use their world to their own advantage and do not care what they have to do, to get in. The police will not help unless she has proof she is telling the truth. Her husband believes her but cannot help her except by hiring a private detective who is a would-be-criminal who blackmails his own clients. Randy Taylor, captain of detectives befriends Elizabeth and her husband Joe, and tries to help, but ends up being the cause of Joe's troubles. The Clinic has two doctors who hate each other but have to stick it out together not only for fear of losing grants for their project-but also the fear of losing their own lives. The astral travelers Laura, David, Arthur and Anne, have their own set of problems with trying to warn Elizabeth about the clinic and surviving the dark ones. The dark ones are evil entities and are truly dangerous. The truth finally comes out close to the end of the book but in the meantime, Elizabeth struggles for justice.
