New Beginnings

Emjay is single, attractive, educated and has a promising career. She has recently broken up with her boyfriend Phil. She wants to marry and have a family, but in the future. She goes on a caribbean cruise with her brother Harry, his wife Joan and some of their friends. On St. Thomas Harry introduces Emjay to Hal and she falls hard. Unfortuneately he is married to Amanda. Hal is a handsome self made millionaire who loves women and business, but does not allow either one to interfere with the one he is focused on. Amanda, Hal's wife of eight years wants out of their stifling marriage, but is afraid Hal may take Steven their only child away from her. At this time of her life she wants freedom to decide if she wants to have a career or just to be footloose and fancy free. Harry Howe is a hard drinking, hard working civil servant who likes to have a good time. His wife Joan is a stay at home wife who enjoys the good life her husband provides for her. Mona is Joan's longtime buddy who is a goodtime gal from the old days. She is Joan's confidante. Her live-in beau George is a character. The action takes place in New York City, aboard the cruise ship Cunard Countess and Hal's mountain-top condo in St. Thomas, V.I.
