The agreement between the Creator God and ancient Israel included specific instructions for them to keep certain observances and holy convocations. These observances and convocations were not just days that the Creator God arbitrarily chose as holidays for ancient Israel.

Before this dimension of time and space came into existence, before the creation of humans, and before the nation of Israel was established God had designed a process that would determine the ultimate destiny of each human.
