Cardinal Edict

When rancher John McHenry becomes embroiled in the effort to stop construction of a factory within pristine Viridian Valley, a long-standing feud threatens to destroy the town. A notorious henchman is brought in to force acceptance of the new construction, teaming up with McHenry's nephew Rich and Barbara Childress, a disenchanted waitress, each with their own agenda of revenge and escape. Suddenly, McHenry finds himself fighting a political and personal battle not only to save the town and valley, but his ranch and way of life as well. While the battle rages in the valley, the wolves of the surrounding foothills wage their own war for territory. When two sibling wolves organize opposing packs, the battle for territory escalates into the valley below, where McHenry's livestock are easy prey. Reeling under the attacks of both the development company and the wolves, McHenry lashes out at the wolves, extracting terrible vengeance. The foothills and valley become vicious, bloodied battlefields where the cardinal edict, survival, is the only law.
